Official teasers of the 2021 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross began to appear on the Internet, and now we have an official photo published by the Japanese company.
Before talking about the new2021 Mitsubishi car, we will remind you of the latest test-drives that our team made with the Japanese company’s models:
During the current year 2020, we’ve seen some spy photos of the facelifted 2021 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross taking secret tests under camouflage, and the car is expected to be officially launched during the fiscal year 2020, which ends on March 31 of the next 2021 year.
As you know, the compact crossover that appeared in 2017 as a 2018 model has an exterior design derived from the Mitsubishi e-Evolution concept, but now it will get major updates regarding its design, including new front and rear bumpers according to what was stated by the Japanese company, and the car will get new front grille and fog lights. There will also be a radical change to the rear end with new rear lights and a new bumper.
“The new design draws inspiration from the Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept emphasizing the strength and dynamics from our SUV heritage while enhancing the cleanliness and elegance of a coupe-like SUV”, said design chief Seiji Watanabe. “The Eclipse Cross is the first step toward the next generation of Mitsubishi Design, and there is so much more to come.”
The facelifted 2021 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is likely to be available with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 152 hp and 250 Newton meters of torque.
