The Audi Q4 Sportback e-Tron, the latest German concept car, was officially unveiled to pave the way for a new 2021 electric car that will be sold internationally.
Days after the launch of the new version of the 2021 Audi e-tron S and the new e-tron S Sportback, today we will introduce a new Audi electric concept, which comes in line with the German manufacturer’s plan to provide 20 production electric cars by 2025.
As many of you may remember, the electric crossover, the 2020 Audi e-tron is the first production car that depends entirely on electric power from the Audi company, and our ArabGT team has already test-driven it. After that, the e-tron Sportback followed, which represents an all-electric crossover coupe, and it seems that Q4 is also following in its footsteps.
As March of 2019 witnessed the launch of the Audi Q4 e-tron concept, which represents an electric crossover of a smaller class than the 2020 e-tron, and we are still waiting for the production version of it, which is supposed to appear this year, and today we will introduce you to its concept sister, the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron which represents crossover coupe of a smaller size than the 2020 e-tron Sportback.
The Audi Q4 Sportback e-Tron has a similar size as the Mercedes GLC Coupe and Porsche Macan (it was confirmed that a fully electric version will be available from its next-generation), which means Audi is competing with Porsche although both companies are owned by the German VW Group.
This electric car is based on two electric motors; The front is 100 horsepower (75 kW), the rear is 201 hp (150 kW), and they both produce 301 hp (225 kW) and are powered by an 82 kW battery.
This Quattro-powered all-wheel drive accelerates from zero to 100 km / h in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km / h (111.8 mph).
