Today we got a spy video that shows a camouflaged prototype of the upcoming new Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo while it is being driven among other cars on the German autobahn.
We are talking in this article about the upcoming production version which will be revealed soon, God willing, and that is based on Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo concept that appeared in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show events, which will represent a fully electric class with a large rear storage space derived from the station wagon category.
And for those who do not know, the 2020 Porsche Taycan, which our colleague Mousub Shashaa previously test-driven in one episode of Special Coverage program, is considered the first fully electric car produced by the German company Porsche, and this new car will now follow.

Despite its camouflage, and according to what we see in the video, it appears that the 2021 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo has some features derived from the current Taycan, and it is likely that it will get a powertrain derived from the current Porsche Taycan also, which is available in many versions, starting from a 530 hp version, while the most powerful version, the Taycan Turbo S generates 761 hp, and the car comes standard with all-wheel-drive system.
As a reminder, the German company Porsche invested 6 billion euros, equivalent to approximately 6.94 billion US dollars or 26 billion Saudi riyals, in order to develop its factory to produce electric cars, and it employed more than 1,200 new employees. This investment included building a factory dedicated for Electric cars within its large facility in Zuffenhausen.
the new Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo will be unveiled before the end of the current year as a 2021 model for 2021.
